Origin & traceability

Moroccan Argan Oil Wholesale, Traced to Origin

For brands and distributors whose product claims depend on Moroccan origin. The question is not only where the oil comes from, but which documents let you substantiate that on your own label and paperwork.

Why origin matters to wholesale buyers

The argan tree (Argania spinosa) is native to southwestern Morocco, and argan oil is produced from the kernels inside its fruit. Because of that, "Moroccan argan oil" is both a product description and, for many brands, a marketing claim.

If your packaging, website or retailer listing says Moroccan argan oil, your supplier should be able to support that with documents — not just a country name on an invoice.

The origin chain a buyer should be able to trace

These are the stages an origin claim rests on. Which records are available for your lot is confirmed with your quotation.

  1. 01

    Kernels

Kernels are extracted from the argan fruit before pressing. Ask which region and collection records exist for the lot.

  2. 02

    Pressing

Oil is mechanically pressed. The quotation states whether pressing takes place in our direct production or at an approved partner.

  3. 03

    Filtration & grading

Oil is filtered and, where the grade requires it, further processed (for example deodorized).

  4. 04

    Lot identification

A lot identifier should connect the delivered oil to its production records and its COA.

  5. 05

    Export

Export paperwork is prepared for the destination; the origin documents you need are agreed with the quotation.
