What the organic claim covers — and what it does not
The organic certifications apply to argan oil from our own Moroccan production. Your quotation states the supply source and the organic status of each lot, so you know what you are buying before you order.
Products from our partner range (black soap, ghassoul clay, kessa gloves, Aker Fassi, lip gloss, prickly pear seed oil and nila powder) are not covered by these certificates. Their certification status is confirmed per product with the quotation.
What to check before putting an organic claim on your product
Your own certifier and regulatory team decide what your finished-product label can say. These are the points buyers usually confirm with us first:
- That the certificate scope names argan oil and the grade you are buying
- The certificate validity dates against your planned order and shelf dates
- Which organic standard your market or retailer requires (COSMOS, USDA NOP or both)
- The organic documentation that will accompany each shipment
- How the lot number on the drum links to the documents you receive
Organic documentation for U.S. shipments
Since 19 March 2024, under USDA’s Strengthening Organic Enforcement rule, every organic shipment entering the United States needs an electronic NOP Import Certificate. It is issued by the exporter’s certifier in the Organic Integrity Database — one certificate per product and HTS code — and the U.S. importer uses it for customs entry (USDA AMS, NOP Import Certificates).
We confirm the organic documentation for each shipment with your quotation, based on your destination and the standard you need.

Procurement questions
Can I see the organic certificates before ordering?
Yes. Certificate copies are available on request through the technical documents form. They show the certificate number, scope and validity.
Are your other Moroccan products organic?
The organic certificates apply to our directly produced argan oil only. For partner-range products, certification status is confirmed per product with the quotation.
Do organic lots cost more or take longer?
Pricing is quoted per grade, packaging and destination. Standard lead times from Morocco, confirmed with each quotation.
